JASARA PMC is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Lead Planner to enhance our dynamic team. This pivotal role is essential for the overall planning, scheduling, and strategic direction of our large-scale projects. Your expertise will play a vital part in ensuring that all aspects of project scope, schedule, and costs are accurately defined, monitored, and aligned with our organizational goals.

As the Lead Planner, you will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough risk assessments and establishing timelines that meet client expectations while ensuring adherence to best practices in project management. Your leadership will be crucial as you facilitate planning meetings, provide guidance to junior planners, and ensure that the team implements effective planning strategies across all projects.

Desired candidate profile

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning within the construction or engineering sector. Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools is essential. A strong knowledge of project management methodologies and practices will be crucial in this role.

We are seeking candidates with proven leadership skills, particularly those who have experience in mentoring junior staff. Your analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills should be top-notch, allowing you to navigate challenges effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are necessary for working with diverse teams and stakeholders. Additionally, experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies is highly desirable, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Prior experience in large-scale infrastructure projects will set you apart.
