Requirements:
Current PT license in the State of Texas
Certifies that its license permit or certificate has not been revoked by any agency or public safety and criminal justice agency
Must be in good standing and must maintain that license while providing services .
Must be certified by the American Heart Association BLS in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and maintain that certification while providing services.
All certifications must be current and remain as such while providing services.
Knowledge or experience working with individuals with severe mental illness preferred.
Responsibilities:
Plan develop and implement treatment protocols to treat improve or maintain consumer s level of function or minimize risk.
Design and fabricates/oversees construction of seating mobility positioning and other orthotic/assistive equipment Complete all required training.
Review and analyze assessments progress reports monitoring data incident reports and medical consults to determine efficiency/impact on therapeutic services.
Participate in quality assurance and quality enhancement activities related to therapeutic services at the facility and state level.
Design direct and oversee competencybased training program for both consumers and staff.
Participate in conference for diagnosis and treatment planning.
