Coverage Type: Clinical Call

Shift Schedule: MonFri; 7a5p

with 1 late day/week when on cardiac call

Call Schedule: TBD

Call Type: Beeper

Call Ratio: 1:6

Avg Surgeries per day: 12

Support Staff: Anesthesia Techs Patient Support Assistant staff members

Specialty Backup: Faculty Anesthesiologists Charge Anesthesiologist

Procedures:

On and off pump CAGB Valve repair and replacement Cath lab and Vascular procedures

No destination VADS or transplants temporary assist devices may be utilized. (IABP/Impella)

General anesthesia Intubation IV placement Spinal Epidural for postop pain (not OB) Arterial line Central line Pulmonary Artery catheter placement and diagnostic TEE

Trauma Level: I

EMR: Epic

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active VT License

BC/BE

BLS ACLS

Must be TEE certified or have Testamur status
