Job Description
Background
We are working to build up and strengthen its capabilities around IT system development and support for IT delivery which includes several new tools and the introduction of a container platform. Important components of this work are changed working methods within our agile teams based on the introduction of DevOps and the Azure DevOps platform. In parallel a management organization is further developed to provide support to the development teams and the organization around these capabilities.
Description
We are looking for a DevOps engineer for a team that works with managing the new platforms and tools to support our IT administrations and development projects. Our platforms include Azure DevOps Server Artifactory and SonarQube.
The assignment includes both tasks of a more coordinated and planned nature as well as more practical and operational tasks that take place handson in our platforms and systems. We are looking for someone who has good experience in the field and can contribute to development in the field with your experience.
Job Duties
In close collaboration with other employees in IT management IT operations and projects the contractor will e.g. have the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Drive and perform upgrades and system improvements to our development tools and Azure DevOps Server platform
- Support new and existing projects and management in introducing DevOpsbased working methods and workspaces in the Azure DevOps Server platform and other development tools in the field.
- Participate in GitLab evaluation
- Install configure and otherwise prepare new environments e.g. for additional needs in the future.
- Participate in work with IT security by assisting with risk and vulnerability analyses monitoring information security etc
- Carry out activities e.g. IT changes together with internal and external stakeholders and system suppliers and contribute
- Be responsible for and update documentation that is relevant to the area e.g. operating and management instructions but also routine/process descriptions
- Work with troubleshooting incidents followup on problem cases etc
- Spread knowledge and train other employees in the area.
Work with other IT solutions and applications in the area is also relevant for the assignment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of work experience as a system developer where management or operation of selfdeveloped applications has also been part of the role.
- At least 2 years of work experience in configuration operation and other management of CI/CD tools Azure DevOps Server
- At least 2 years of work experience in configuration operation and other management of CI/CD tool GitLab.
- At least 2 years of work experience in the role of DevOps Engineer with experience in both the introduction of DevOpsbased working methods and tools in Linux and Windows environments.
- At least 1 year of work experience in package management with for example Artifactory or similar tools.
- At least 2 years of work experience in automation and configuration where e.g. Ansible bash Powershell Yaml Java C# Python
- At least 5 years of work experience from teams where agile working methods have been used.
- Worked with configuration operation and other management of Artifactory and SonarQube (corresponding functionality in GitLab) for at least 2 year
- Worked with application management in an OpenShift/Kubernetes platform for at least 2 years
- Worked handson with data warehouses that build e.g. on Postgresql and MS SQL Server for at least 2 years.
Education
College/university education comprising at least 120p/180hp in IT alternatively university of applied sciences education comprising 400 universities of applied sciences credits in IT with a focus on DevOps Linux System Development or System Administration
