Position: Infrastructure Director at JASARA PMC

JASARA PMC is actively seeking an accomplished Infrastructure Director to spearhead our infrastructure initiatives. This pivotal leadership role is integral to shaping the strategic direction and management of the company’s infrastructure systems and operations. As Infrastructure Director, you will collaborate closely with executive leadership to ensure that our infrastructure goals are in alignment with broader business objectives, ultimately delivering a robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure that supports the organization’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive infrastructure strategy that aligns seamlessly with our business objectives. You will oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of our infrastructure systems and networks, ensuring they meet performance, capacity, and availability requirements.

Leading cross-functional teams, you will manage major infrastructure projects and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Building and maintaining relationships with external vendors, service providers, and stakeholders will also be a critical aspect of your role, as you work to enhance our infrastructure capabilities and negotiate favorable terms.

You will be tasked with ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in cybersecurity, safeguarding our systems against potential threats. Monitoring and managing infrastructure performance will be essential, as you identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency.

As a strategic leader, you will develop and oversee the infrastructure budget, making informed decisions on resource allocation to support our goals. Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies will be vital in driving innovation and ensuring our infrastructure remains competitive and effective.

In addition to your strategic responsibilities, you will also play a crucial role in mentoring and developing team members within the infrastructure department, enhancing their skills and capabilities to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure management is required, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. You should have strong knowledge of infrastructure systems, networks, and security practices, with proven experience in developing and executing infrastructure strategies.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with strong project management capabilities to handle multiple priorities effectively. Experience in budget management and resource allocation is also necessary. Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, ITIL, or PMP, are highly desirable. Familiarity with cloud technologies and virtualization will be considered a plus, as will strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
