JASARA PMC is seeking a highly qualified Senior Construction Engineer specializing in piling to join our dedicated team. This critical role involves leading pivotal piling projects that contribute to the infrastructure development initiatives across Saudi Arabia. Your extensive expertise will be essential in ensuring that all piling activities are executed with the utmost precision, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Construction Engineer, you will manage and oversee all facets of piling projects from conception to execution. This includes conducting comprehensive site investigations and assessments to inform effective piling strategies tailored to each project’s unique requirements. You will be responsible for developing detailed piling specifications, design calculations, and methodologies that align with industry standards and regulations.

Your role will also involve close coordination with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. You will review and approve contractor submittals related to piling works, ensuring that all activities adhere to best practices and comply with relevant safety and quality standards. Monitoring and evaluating project progress will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities, as you will provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders.

In addition to project management, you will lead and mentor junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional development within the team. Staying informed about new technologies and techniques related to piling will be vital in enhancing project efficiency and innovation.

Desired candidate profile

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A minimum of eight years of experience in piling and foundation engineering is essential, along with proven expertise in managing complex construction projects. A strong knowledge of various piling techniques, equipment, and materials is critical for success in this position.

Candidates should also be familiar with relevant geotechnical engineering principles and proficient in design and analysis software such as PLAXIS and Lpile. Outstanding communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Professional engineering licensure or certification is a plus and will be viewed favorably.
