Location: Karachi (Onsite)
Working Hours: 6 PM to 2 AM (PST)
Salary: 80000 PKR to 90000 PKR
Days: MondayFriday
Experience: 2 years in same field
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Freight Handler to oversee operations customer service and sales in a fastpaced logistics environment. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge in Ocean Freight Land Freight and Air Freight and will serve as the support to the operations team and reports to the senior management. This role requires managing daily logistics operations and ensuring seamless coordination between customers and the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daytoday freight operations for Ocean Land and Air Freight logistics.
- Obtain quotes for Courier Air Truck and Ocean services for both inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian Export Reporting System (CERS) for all shipments.
- He will be responsible for managing any conflicts that may arise within logistics operations ensuring smooth resolutions. Additionally excellent communication skills required to effectively liaise with regulatory authorities when required.
- Ensure compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practice) regulations.
- Coordinate with domestic and international freight carriers to streamline operations.
- Assist the senior management in overseeing all aspects of the business acting as a reliable backup when needed.
- Provide excellent customer service ensuring client satisfaction and addressing their shipping needs.
Requirements:
- 3 5 Years of relevant experience is mandatory.
- Extensive experience in Ocean Land and Air Freight operations.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and make critical decisions in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent customer service and sales experience.
