This role focuses on collaborating with agencies and major brands to determine how Ahrefs can support their needs while nurturing current partnerships with prominent organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, leading software firms, and global marketing agencies.
As an Account Executive at Ahrefs, your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire sales cycle, from targeted outreach to closing deals. You will engage with inbound leads, assessing their goals, plans, challenges, timelines, and budgets to identify qualified opportunities. Proactively reaching out to current customers is also vital, as you will seek to uncover areas for growth and expansion within their use of our platform.
Your day-to-day activities will involve educating and consulting clients on SEO best practices, highlighting how Ahrefs can enhance their strategies and drive business growth. For larger prospects, you will collaborate with senior team members to create tailored demos that showcase how our solutions align with their specific needs. Building strong relationships with clients is essential, as you will aim to foster product evangelism and ensure their long-term success with Ahrefs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a self-motivated individual with 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or sales development roles. Experience within a marketing SaaS company or an SEO/digital marketing agency is highly desirable. A solid understanding of SEO principles, along with practical experience, will be a significant advantage.
Strong project management skills are crucial, enabling you to juggle multiple priorities effectively. You must possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities, allowing you to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. A genuine investment in the success of your clients is essential, as this role thrives on building trust and providing valuable insights.
Fluency in both Spanish and English is a must, as effective communication with diverse clientele is a core component of this position.
