Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled QA Tester to join our Portfolio Management Engineering (PME) team on a oneyear contract. The ideal candidate will be onshore working on a Time & Materials (T&M) basis and will be required to work onsite at our Oaks office three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality assurance testing for portfolio management applications.
- Test both backend services and user interfaces (UI).
- Utilize basic SQL knowledge for testing purposes (complex queries not required).
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts.
- Report and track defects and work with the team to resolve issues.
- Optionally leverage automation tools such as Taiko and Fitnesse to enhance testing efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in quality assurance specifically with portfolio management applications.
- Strong understanding of portfolio management processes and applications.
- Proven experience in testing backend services and frontend UIs.
- Basic SQL knowledge for testing purposes.
- Experience with automation tools like Taiko and Fitnesse is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
