We are a performance marketing agency managing over $120M in annual media spend. Specializing in boutique digital marketing services we partner with large American companies in the home improvement industry helping them drive growth while reducing their overall marketing costs.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and forwardthinking Head of Media Innovation & Strategy to lead our Innovation & Optimization department in pushing the boundaries of digital advertising and staying ahead of the competition. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the performance marketing landscape and a strong focus on emerging traffic sources media buying automation and strategic testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Innovation Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to explore and test new traffic sources emerging ad platforms and innovative media channels to keep the agency ahead of industry trends.

Oversee Media Automation: Spearhead automation efforts in media buying processes ensuring that proprietary tools and scripts are developed to optimize bidding budget allocation and campaign management at scale.

Research & Development (R&D): Manage and guide the R&D team in discovering and testing new ad platforms to ensure the agency can offer clients cuttingedge solutions.

Media Buying Optimization: Lead a team focused on optimizing media buying strategies and tactics for operational media buying. Develop and implement techniques to enhance key performance metrics (CPA ROI CTR) and collaborate with the operational media buying team to apply successful strategies. Ensure continuous A/B testing and datadriven insights are used to improve current media buying efforts.

Client & Niche Launch and Testing: Manage a dedicated team responsible for launching new clients and testing new niches. Oversee the strategic planning execution and optimization of campaigns for clients entering new markets ensuring that all efforts are effectively tested measured and optimized for success.

Strategic Leadership: Work closely with the CMO and other senior stakeholders to align media innovation strategies with the company s broader business objectives and client goals.

Team Leadership: Oversee the management of specialized teams including R&D Media Automation Media Buying Optimization and New Client Launch & Testing. Inspire and mentor team members fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Partnerships and Tools: Identify and manage relationships with media buying platforms ad tech vendors and other partners to support innovation and automation efforts. Evaluate thirdparty tools and technologies that can enhance the team s capabilities.

Requirements :

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Marketing Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years in digital marketing with at least 35 years in a leadership role focused on media buying performance marketing or media innovation. Proven success in driving innovation and optimizing paid traffic channels.
  • Strong understanding of media buying platforms (Google Ads Meta Ads native or display platforms) and handson experience with automation tools and scripts to optimize campaigns.
  • A passion for exploring emerging platforms and technologies with a demonstrated ability to discover and scale new traffic sources and ad channels.
  • Experience leading and growing crossfunctional teams.
  • Experience working remotely and collaboratively across departments.
  • Prior experience in lead generation is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with using APIs for campaign management and data tracking is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas to senior management and internal teams in a clear concise manner.
  • Fluent English.
