The customer is transforming its existing business through strategic technical initiatives that will enable it to fully leverage cloud services and ensure system scalability and stability while freeing up key teams to focus on new developments to deliver new revenue.

Requirements
- 6 years of background in Software Engineering Design or Development
- 5 years of experience delivering backend platforms using highscale distributed system tools and techniques
- Competency in developing C# .Net Core 8based Linux services
- Proficiency in a scientific multilanguage environment (Python Java/Groovy R) and comfort in switching across languages are important
- 2 years of delivering cloudbased software solutions in Azure using IaC via Bicep
- Expertise in batch environments (like EMR/Redshift) and messaging systems (SQS Kafka RabbitMQ)
- Grounding in Nextflow genomics workflow definition language and/or alternatives (like Cromwell)
- Experience with general Linux administration and operational management
Nice to Have
- AWS skills
- Expertise in Azure Batch for scalable batch computing and Service Bus for messaging
English level

Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain software applications
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing and maintenance
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop new features and functionality for software products
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Stay uptodate with emerging trends and technologies
