You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Group Financial Controller (FC)to join the Corios rapidly growing offshore wind business and support the transition to a low carbon sustainable global economy.
You will:
As Group FC you will support the Finance Team inensuring Corios standards of financial control and financial reporting areincorporated into all projects.
This role will involve the shaping of a new generalledger statutory reporting and consolidation systems and associatedprocedures ensuring that appropriate controls interfaces and reporting are inplace.
You will be responsible for implementing strong financialcontrol and month end close processes including monthly balance sheetreconciliations ensuring all balances are appropriately supported. You willdesign and deliver strong financial reporting and timely quality managementinformation and analysis of the business for senior stakeholders and thosemonitoring projects.
You will also ensure the preparation of financial reportsfor the business are in accordance with Macquarie Groups governance and riskmanagement standards and ensure appropriate accounting policies are adopted andapplied for project Management and Group reporting. In addition youwill own the production of annual statutory reporting and will manage effectiveworking relationships with internal and external parties including FinancialManagement Group Tax external auditors outsource service providers andadvisors.
To be perform at the appropriate level in this role youwill be a Chartered Accountant with at least six years post qualificationexperience in a reporting and/or financial control environment coupled withstrong technical knowledge of IFRS. In addition experience of preparation ofconsolidated financial statements and implementation of general ledger systemswould be required. Strong attention to detail and the ability to workeffectively in a small team environment driving process improvements is crucialto success in this role.
