Job Description
Our thriving secondary school in Chelsea seeks a talented and enthusiastic Girls PE teacher to join our dynamic faculty. This is a fulltime permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive and academically rigorous environment.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging and informative PE lessons for girls across all year groups adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of sport physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
- Guide students in developing their physical skills fitness levels and understanding of sportsmanship and teamwork.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel as applicable).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the PE department and contribute to schoolwide events.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Physical Education or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for PE and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication interpersonal skills and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
