KS2 Teacher Good School:

Wayman Education is working with a vibrant and fun primary school based in Lewisham seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent KS2 teacher is required from January 2025. This fantastic primary school is searching for a good KS2 teacher who has the skills and drive to lead.

This is a significant position within the school and the successful applicant will join the schools extended leadership team. Strong communication and analytical abilities as well as the ability to teach a funloving KS2 class beginning in January are required for this position.

Only exceptional experienced KS2 teachers will be interviewed for this permanent fulltime position.

The children are hardworking caring inquisitive and imaginative and the staff here aspire to develop wellrounded confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment as a result we are seeking a primary teacher who knows how to drive attainment and create engaging lessons.

Responsibilities of a KS2 teacher:

  • As a KS2 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of the children promoting teamwork and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
  • Teaching the Key stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual childs learning targets encouraging their strengths and improving their weaknesses.
  • Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions statistics and geometry.
  • Keeping track of childrens progress and occasionally reporting back to parents.
