Orthotist Prosthetist Certified - Direct Hire

JOB PROFILE SUMMARY Responsible to manage the comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic patient care under the direction of a physicians prescription. This includes patient assessment formulation and implementation of a treatment plan as well as followup and practice management. JOB DESCRIPTION The orthosis/prosthesis is designed to restore physiological function and/or cosmesis. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Adapts interaction style to situations and people. Effectively performs the technical job aspects continuously building knowledge and keeping uptodate on technical and procedural job components. Makes sound recommendations when faced with complex and contradictory alternatives. Performs at least 23 concurrent activities without reducing productivity. Education Details Completed the schooling necessary to become certified as a Certified Orthotic/Prosthetic Practitioner. Experience Ten years of combined experience education and training in orthotics and prosthetics under the supervision of a privileged orthotist and prosthetist with a minimum of four years in each discipline. License/Certification Details Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics through the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC) is required; if not at time of hire must have certification within three years of hire. Possess a valid Class D drivers license and maintain a good driving record. Comments:hourly position and this position s pay range is 32.50 52.00 per hour so overtime is possible which is typically only needed with on call responsibilities. signon bonus up to xx20000. It s 2 year commitment for xx10000 or a 3 year commitment for xx20000
