Job Description
Our wellregarded secondary school in Bexley seeks a qualified and passionate PE Teacher to join our dynamic PE department on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire a love of PE and equip students with valuable knowledge and skills.
About the Role:
As a PE Teacher you will:
- Deliver engaging and stimulating PE lessons across the curriculum catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 78) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 911).
- Foster a love of PE in students encouraging exploration of the world around them and developing their critical thinking skills.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
- Contribute to curriculum development ensuring it aligns with the schools vision national requirements and the latest advancements in geographical pedagogy.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the PE department and across the school to ensure a cohesive and engaging program.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified PE Teacher with a proven track record of success in engaging students and developing their geographical understanding.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring a love of PE in students of all abilities.
- Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a positive stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and collaboration skills.
