Art Teacher Sought for Reputable Secondary School in Lambeth
We are delighted to partner with a highlyregarded secondary school in Lambeth that is committed to providing a wellrounded education for its students. They are seeking a passionate and inspiring Art Teacher to join their dedicated Art department in a fulltime permanent capacity.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering creativity and artistic expression in students across Key Stages 3 4 and 5. This role involves cultivating a dynamic and engaging learning environment where students can explore various art forms develop their technical skills and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the visual arts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver inspiring art lessons that align with the national curriculum and the schools educational ethos.
- Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement experimentation and critical thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual artistic growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Art department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
- Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in art education.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelors degree or higher in Art Art Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Art at the secondary level.
