Solution IT Inc. is looking for Oracle Cloud (Migration) Technical for one of its clients in Alexandria VA / Hybrid
Job Title: Oracle Cloud (Migration) Technical
Summary
This critical role is responsible for leading the successful migration of enterprise data and processes from PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion. You will leverage your expertise in both systems to ensure a smooth and accurate transfer of financial data operational information and customizations.
Develop and execute a comprehensive data migration strategy. Collaborate with various departments (finance operations IT) to understand current PeopleSoft functionalities data structures and conversion requirements. Partner with Oracle implementation specialists or consultants to configure Oracle Fusion according to company needs. Manage the data conversion process including data extraction cleansing mapping and loading into Oracle Fusion. This involves ensuring data accuracy completeness and adherence to Oracle Fusions data model. Develop and implement a testing plan to verify data integrity and functionality within the new Oracle Fusion system. Support user training and change management initiatives to facilitate a smooth transition from PeopleSoft.
Required Skills:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration Accounting Finance).
- Minimum 4 years experience with ERP systems (PeopleSoft or Oracle Fusion) implementations upgrades or maintenance.
- Possess indepth knowledge of both PeopleSoft and Oracle Fusion systems including functionalities data structures customization options and reporting capabilities.
- Proven experience in data conversion methodologies data mapping techniques and data quality assurance practices.
- Understanding Oracle Fusion implementation best practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft and Oracle Fusion data migration tools is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and ERP processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Expertise in financial analysis problemsolving and diligence.
- Experience with specific Oracle Fusion Financials modules (e.g. General Ledger Accounts Payable)
- Advanced data analysis skills (e.g. pivot tables macros).
- Experience with financial reporting tools or scripting languages.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or its equivalent with relevant experience.
Work Site: Alexandria VA / Hybrid Onsite 3 Days/Week (Tuesday Thursday)
Job Type: 6 Months
