Introduction:
Join our team at Central Moloney as a Stud Welder. Youll play a crucial role in the transformer manufacturing process. Your commitment to safety attention to detail and ability to follow procedures will ensure the quality and efficiency of our products.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up operate and maintain stud welding equipment for transformer components.

Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and welding specifications.

Weld metal studs to required surfaces ensuring proper alignment and spacing.

Inspect finished welds for quality making adjustments as needed to meet industry standards.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety protocols and procedures.

Identify and troubleshoot welding defects or equipment issues to minimize downtime.

Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet manufacturing schedules.

Document welding activities and quality checks for production records.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED required; technical training in welding is a plus.

Proven experience with stud welding equipment preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety standards.
-
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
-
Good handeye coordination and attention to detail.
-
Ability to lift and move materials up to insert weight lbs.
-
Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive work ethic.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
-
Lifting:Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
-
Environment:Work in a facility with loud noise extreme temperatures and environmental stressors.

Physical Activities:Sit stand walk bend climb crouch reach and grasp as needed.

PPE:Wear required PPE including eye and hearing protection gloves and safety toe footwear.

Dexterity and Vision:Manual dexterity and specific vision abilities (close distance color peripheral depth perception and focus adjustment).

Stamina:Stand for long shifts.

Skills:Effective communication basic math skills and teamwork.

Safety:Adhere to safety protocols and address hazards.
