General Description
In your role as Kreditorenbuchhalter:in / Accountant (m/w/d) you will be responsible for incoming and outgoing invoices as well as payment transactions. In addition you will support our finance team with other accounting tasks in the monthly and annual financial statements.
Your Role
- Independent checking of incoming invoices in accordance with tax and commercial law regulations as well as internal specifications
- Assigning incoming invoices to the accounts payable workflow
- Timely and processcompliant posting of incoming invoices
- Posting outgoing invoices and receivables management incl. dunning process
- Checking and recording travel expense and credit card statements
- Master data maintenance
- Independent preparation and execution of weekly payment runs in accordance with internal guidelines
- Monitoring incoming and outgoing payments
- Account reconciliation and account clarification
- Communicating with specialist departments suppliers service providers and customers
- Assisting with the timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
Your Skills and Experience
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training with a focus on finance
- 13 years of professional experience in finance and accounting in a German company ideally already in a startup environment
- Sound knowledge of sales tax and commercial law
- Very good knowledge of the MS Office package
- Experience with DATEV is an advantage
- You think analytically and like to work in a detail and solutionoriented manner
- You always have a good overview by keeping processes and tasks structured
- You are a reliable team player who is interested in developing yourself and the team
- You are passionate about travel smart products fashion design and sustainability
- You are fluent in English and German
