Roles and responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for achieving hotel targets by optimizing revenues through the deployment accounts, as well as prospecting new business through the source markets assigned. The key measurement of performance will be performance versus the revenue goals
- Responsible for key accounts management with assigned list of global, regional accounts within various geographic area, ensuring revenue maximization, achievement of personal targets and increasing the market share for corporate segment either business travelers or MICE
- Responsible for prospecting new accounts and qualifying volume producer accounts
- Responsible for the corporate performance, establish/maintain business relationship with global buyers through head/regional offices
- Conduct site inspections and participate in travel shows, GSO activities
- Manage TMCs key accounts, to enhance the corporate production through GDS channel
- Total Account Management experience with 360 degrees’ strategy, efforts versus results
- Detailed knowledge of all services are provided by the Hotel to be positioned as value add or direct selling products
- Responsible for timely contracting from the client base responsible for and managing global RFPs with needed actions locally/regionally/globally
- Managing relationship with Global Sales Organization to enhance corporate segment performance and organize monthly/quarterly activities
- Accounts’ business reviews with strategic business partners to evaluate the performance and build/enhance the accounts’ commercial plan accordingly
- SMART contracting to ensure optimum yielding during annual rate negotiations
- Attend trade shows, sales blitz, workshops, etc. in the assigned markets
- Assist the Director of Sales in defining the corporate sales plan and execute set actions accordingly
- SMART goal setting with weekly/monthly/quarterly plan
Desired candidate profile
- Five (5) years’ experience in a Sales position, preferably in a global hotel chain
- Local market experience and UAE, GCC market knowledge are preferred
- Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment
- Professional communication skills with consumers, stakeholders and regional office
- Confident personality with leadership skills with good presentation skills
- English – excellent oral and written skills
- Computer literacy adapted to the field of Sales: strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
- Familiar with Accor Tools (Global RFPs, Cvent, ANAIS etc.)
- Self-motivated personality and a great team player, who is supporting the team members and coaching them with previous experience
