Position Responsibilities
  • Inspect and monitor welding and piping activities on offshore structures to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
  • Review and approve welding procedures inspection plans and qualifications ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
  • Perform nondestructive testing (NDT) including RT UT MT and PT and assess the integrity of welds and piping systems.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and construction teams to address technical queries and implement corrective actions for identified nonconformities.
  • Maintain comprehensive inspection records prepare detailed reports and ensure timely documentation of all inspection activities and findings


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Diploma/BE/BTech Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience
  • Should have Aramco approval as a Welding Inspector and 8000 Series SAP No
  • Should have cleared CBT in Welding & Piping
  • Should have onshore experience with offshore structure fabrication like jackets decks platforms wellheads etc.
  • CSWIP 3.1 or AWS Welding Inspector and ASNT Level 2 in Radiographic Testing Ultrasonic Testing Magnetic Particle Testing and Penetrant Testing (RT UT MT & PT)
  • Previous experience with Saudi Aramco is mandatory.
