Job Description
Our client is a key player in the Fintech Space. They have built a trusted payment infrastructure that allows consumers and businesses to make and receive payments conveniently and border less. They are currently looking to hire a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate to join their Treasury Assurance team in Lagos.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy efficiency and compliance of treasury operations.The candidate Will also have a strong background in treasury management risk assessment and financial analysis.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage daytoday treasury operations including cash management liquidity forecasting and fund disbursement processes.
- Implement and maintain treasury policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities in treasury activities.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decisionmaking processes related to liquidity
management and investment strategies. - Identify assess and mitigate risks associated with treasury operations.
- Monitor market trends and provide recommendations to optimize the companys risk exposure.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to treasury operations.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams; finance accounting and legal to ensure alignment of treasury activities with overall business objectives.
- Build strong relationships with financial institutions and other partners.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field
- Solid working experience in treasury management financial analysisLiquidity managementFinancial Analysisinternal control & Audit or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial markets risk management and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Financial Accounting Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
