In the role of Maintenance Vehicle Management, you will be responsible for a comprehensive range of tasks essential to ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of rolling stock. Your primary duties will encompass initiating follow-up actions and coordinating vehicle maintenance initiatives and activities. You will engage in the ongoing analysis and review of data and reports related to rolling stock performance, providing insights that drive improvement.
A critical aspect of your role will be evaluating the performance of maintainers and operators. This involves addressing any issues that arise, appraising potential solutions, and recommending alternatives when necessary. You will also audit and validate rolling stock performance against the System Performance Report generated by the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Contractor, ensuring compliance with established standards and identifying areas for enhancement.
Your responsibilities will extend to coordinating and monitoring the interfaces and integration of rolling stock with other essential systems, including Platform Screen Doors, Signaling, SCADA, and Power Supply. This cross-discipline collaboration is vital for seamless operations and effective maintenance protocols.
You will be tasked with overseeing the preventive and corrective maintenance of rolling stock and related features, ensuring that the maintainer manages these processes efficiently. Monitoring the warranty process will also be part of your duties, requiring diligence in tracking and addressing warranty claims to uphold service quality.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position, a minimum of 10 years of experience with maintenance vehicles (such as TGIV, UTU, etc.) is essential. You should possess a strong background in providing technical support to O&M teams specifically for maintenance vehicles, showcasing your ability to resolve complex issues effectively.
Experience in preparing Request for Proposals (RFP) documents for maintenance vehicles is required, demonstrating your capacity to articulate needs and facilitate procurement processes. Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in maintenance vehicles will be crucial, as this knowledge will guide strategic decisions.
You should also have the skills to set mid- and long-term strategies regarding maintenance vehicle needs and procurement approaches, aligning operational goals with technological advancements and market trends. This strategic foresight will ensure that our rolling stock remains reliable, efficient, and aligned with future developments in the transportation sector.
