Experience within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region is preferred, showcasing an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this area.
Job Description:
As the Senior Airport Planning Manager, reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Planning, you will be responsible for executing the strategic direction set for the airport master planning program. Your primary focus will be on achieving key deliverables and ensuring high performance across all functions under your purview.
You will lead a dedicated team in the development and implementation of master plans that meet project requirements and align with the strategic goals of the organization. This includes overseeing feasibility studies, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and standards. Your role will also involve engaging with stakeholders, including government authorities, airport operators, and other relevant parties, to ensure that the master planning process is collaborative and transparent.
In addition to managing the planning processes, you will be responsible for assessing project risks, identifying potential challenges, and developing mitigation strategies. You will monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring that all activities are completed efficiently and within scope.
Experience:
The candidate must have a proven track record in senior management or director-level positions, demonstrating leadership capabilities and strategic thinking. Extensive client-facing experience is essential, as the role involves liaising with key stakeholders and ensuring their needs are met effectively. This experience should encompass various aspects of airport planning, including but not limited to site selection, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and environmental considerations.
