Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing

Coverage Type: Clinical Call

Shift Schedule: MonFri; 7a4p; 1 week

Call Schedule:

3 nights/week; 4p7a & 2 Sat/Sun; 7a7a

Ave. No. of Trauma Surgical Cases: 5 per day

Patient Demographics: Primarily Adult/Geri; Occasionally child/adolescent.

Annual ER Volume: 80000

% of ED Patients Admitted to the Hospital: 35%

Support Staff: OR Staff (Full compliment)

Case Mix: Trauma cases (Adult/Geriatric): Penetrating Blunt cases

Required Procedures: Chest Tube Insertion Appendectomy & Cholecystectomy.

Trauma Level: I

No. of Beds: 617

EMR: Epic

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

CT License

Fellowship

ACLS

DEA

Must be local/drivein (mileage)
