Proposal Manager (LOCATION Overland Park KS )
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:
Our company is looking for a new Proposal Manager to prepare project proposals. In this position you work with various departments throughout our company from marketing to graphic design to draft and prepare project proposals for presentation to uppermanagement and other stakeholders. You also respond to RFPs from outside parties. You are responsible for drafting editing and proofreading the proposal to ensure it is in compliance with all internal regulations. Our preferred candidate has a bachelors degree in a business field and several years of proposal writing and management experience.
As a proposal manager your primary responsibilities involve preparing company proposals and working to ensure you meet goals on time. Your duties require you to collaborate with marketing operations business development technology practices and other departments to review information and assess the most efficient and effective plan. You write a draft prepare a presentation and bring your recommendations to clients through structured RFx processes. You manage the request for proposal (RFP) from start to finish and assist along the way. You maintain the resource materials check that you are following proper procedures and standards and communicate with outside vendors as needed.
- Regularly review RFP portals from target clients and use a structured decision process to determine participation with leadership
- Complete RFPs
- Supervise your writing team (yourself inputs from practice leads finance legal etc)
- Draft and edit proposals
- Collaborate with other department members to finalize proposals
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A bachelor s degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent work experience.
35 years of experience as a developer utilizing modern C# Visual Studio SQL 2012.
Experience in C#, ASP.Net, ASP.Net MVC Expert in Typescript / Java Script and experience with Angular 8/1 Expert in Web API Full stack design and development experience Excellent knowledge with DB layers connecting (ADO.Net, Entity Framework) to SQL Server and Stored Procedures Experience in Event driven design and implementation, MSMQ Knowledge in Python and excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills Preferred knowledge in software design, design patterns Preferred knowledge with Windows Workflow Foundation Preferred knowledge in migrating applications from older platforms to newer ones Preferred knowledge on addressing issues with Cyber Security scans Front-End Technologies: HTML, CSS, BOOTSTRAP, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, JSON, XML Back-End Technologies: C#, ASP.NET, PHP, Python, Microsoft SharePoint Scripting: Windows Schedulers, PowerShell Database: Microsoft SQL Server
