Job Description
A new opportunity has come up for a wellexperienced Radiology Diagnostic Consultant to work for a hospital based in Saudi Arabia. In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
- evaluate the patient s medical history to ensure tests will not cause harm.
- suggest alternative diagnostic techniques as needed
- perform or direct radiology staff to perform a variety of diagnostic procedures such as Xrays MRIs CT Scans and ultrasounds to diagnose illnesses and injuries.
- make a diagnosis based on the results.
- communicate test results and their diagnosis to a patient s primary physician through a written report.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria:
- minimum 3 /4 years of postfellowship experience with any of the following qualifications:
- Canadian Fellowship of the Royal Colleges
- Australian Fellowship of the Royal Colleges
- South African Fellowship of Specialty Colleges
- UK CCST or CCT or GMC Specialist Registration
- Ireland CCST or CCT or IMC Specialist Registration
- USA American Board
- Knowledgeable in using imaging technology to diagnose disease.
- Background in the treatment and diagnosis of diseases with imaging technology.
- Able to use of radiation to treat cancer
- Have experience in breast imaging musculoskeletal imaging interventional imaging paediatric imaging and cardiac imaging.
- proficient in general radiology techniques including Xrays mammography and ultrasound.
- Successful completion of their home Medical Licensing Examination / able to get a medical license to work in KSA
- Valid and active medical license in the state where you are currently practising your profession.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding handeye coordination and dexterity.
- Wonderful bedside manner.
- Excellent communicator who can empathise with patients.
- Flexible working hours.
- Willing to be based in Saudi Arabia
