Job Description
- Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies that support the companys growth objectives and enhance shareholder value.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting including monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity to ensure the company can meet its obligations and invest in growth.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks including market credit and operational risks.
- Cost Management: Implement cost control measures to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations accounting standards and internal policies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate financial performance and strategy to the board of directors investors and other stakeholders.
- Mergers & Acquisitions: Assess potential M&A opportunities and conduct due diligence to support strategic growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of financial management experience with 5 years in a leadership role within the retail industry.
- Certifications: CPA CFA or similar certification preferred.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Indepth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
