They are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Economics Teacher to join their faculty in a fulltime permanent capacity starting immediately.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive and engaging Economics curriculum to students across Key Stages 4 and 5. The role entails fostering a stimulating and insightful learning environment that encourages critical thinking analytical skills and a deep understanding of economic principles and their realworld applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver inspiring Economics lessons that align with the national curriculum and the schools educational ethos.
  • Create a dynamic classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and participation.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Social Sciences department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
  • Stay abreast of current economic trends pedagogical approaches and developments in Economics education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelors degree or higher in Economics or a closely related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Economics at the secondary level preferably across Key Stages 4 and 5.
