Job Description
Our wellregarded South London secondary school seeks a qualified and passionate Geography Teacher to join our dynamic Geography department. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire a love of geography and equip students with valuable knowledge and skills.
About the Role:
As a Geography Teacher you will:
- Deliver engaging and stimulating Geography lessons across the curriculum catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 78) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 911).
- Foster a love of geography in students encouraging exploration of the world around them and developing their critical thinking skills.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students can develop their geographical skills effectively.
- Contribute to curriculum development ensuring it aligns with the schools vision national requirements and the latest advancements in geographical pedagogy.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Geography department and across the school to ensure a cohesive and engaging program.

- Qualified Geography teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students and developing their geographical understanding.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring a love of geography in students of all abilities.
- Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a positive stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and collaboration skills.
