Job Description
Job Title: Home Health Aide (Nursing)
Location: Rochester New York 14617
Schedule: 8hour Evening Shift (3:00 PM 11:30 PM)
Duration: 10 Weeks
Days: Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Saturday
Position Type: Travel
Overview:
As a Home Health Aide you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and wellbeing. This role requires a compassionate individual who can follow care plans and deliver highquality care to multiple participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personal care and assistance to clients including bathing grooming and dressing.
- Monitor and document client health and behavior changes reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities as outlined in care plans.
- Help clients with meal preparation feeding and nutritional support.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients quality of life.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Follow care plans and adapt to the needs of each participant.
- Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in home health care or a similar setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to float between different clients as needed.
