Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and selfmotivated Senior Project Architect to lead all aspects of project development from design to occupancy. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing both local and remote teams while driving projects to success. The role involves overseeing operations in our Virginia office and collaborating closely with our Florida headquarters. A future ownership stake in the firm is a possibility for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead marketing efforts for projects in Virginia Maryland DC and West Virginia.
- Manage local and remote project teams to deliver highquality projects.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of engineering teams and consultants.
- Ensure project budgets and deadlines are met.
- Demonstrate expertise in construction methods detailing specification writing and building code interpretation.
- Conduct construction administration and provide project oversight.
- Possess strong communication and writing skills with a focus on responsiveness to client needs.
- Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree.
- Licensed Architect in Virginia (or the ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity).
- Licensure in West Virginia DC or Maryland is a plus.
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience.
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
- 3D modeling and rendering skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
- Legal work status in the U.S.
