Job Description
Role: Performance/SRE Engineer
Location: Atlanta GA (Onsite from Day 1)
Long Term
Skillset:
Bachelors degree in engineering with 10 years of experience in Performance Engineering and Site Reliability Management (SRE).
- Experience with monitoring production environment for Performance Availability and holistic view of system health.
- Experience with software configuration management and release engineering.
- Hands on experience with performance and monitoring tools like LoadRunner Dynatrace AppDynamics Splunk Catchpoint etc.
- Experience in Performance Engineering System Admin with system configuration optimizing connection pool and performance of environment.
- Proactive approach to troubleshooting identifying problems performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Ability to program (structured and OOP) using one or more languages such as Python Java C/C Ruby and JavaScript.
- Experience with working on applications based On Premises and Cloud (Azure).
Responsibilities:
- Drive capacity planning performance analysis instrumentation and other nonfunctional systems requirements.
- Gather and analyze performance metrics from production systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
- Participate in system design consulting platform management and capacity planning.
- Partner with development teams to troubleshoot issues and defect fixes.
- Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts.
- Balance feature development speed and reliability with welldefined servicelevel objectives.
