Management of 12 critically ill patients management of varying patient populations including critically ill medical and surgical patients with an emphasis on renal and bone marrow transplant as well as oncology patients. Ability to manage vasopressors sedatives analgesics inotropics antiarrhythmics and other titratable drips. Ability to assist with bedside procedures including RSI Tracheostomy line placement other diagnostic tests. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. EPIC EMR Omnicell Automated Dispensing Cabinet Aleris IV pumps MOOG Feeding pumps Phillips Patient Monitoriug Systems AvaSure patient Monitoring Hamilton Ventilator Hamilton V60 BiPAP Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2 years of experience in a large facility over 200 beds and level 1 trauma. Ability to care for critical ill patients independently. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS must be AHA ACLS must be AHA NIHSS and ND or compact state RN License. Shift or schedule requirements. 12 hour shifts. Every other weekend and holiday. Floating to over units/departments. Floating to all critical care departments in Sanford Fargo including Intermediate ICU with ratios up to 4:1 May be required to float to med surg units as needed. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 18 beds Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. 1 nurse to 2 patients IMC 1 nurse to 4 patients. Dress Code: Navy Scrubs Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. The candidate will get a total of 32 hours of orientation. That includes 8 hours of hospital orientation 8 hours of orientation to ICU RST and 4 hours of orientation to our Intermediate ICU and then 12 hours of orientation to our Broadway ICU. All of this will take place over the 1st week of the assignment. |
