Job Description

Position Name Power supply test technician Engineer./Technician

Type of hiring 12 Months

W2 or C2C

Location Fremont CA Onsite

Job Description:

  • Power Hardware Testing.
    • Set up and perform hardware testing on standalone Power Supply Unit (PSU) standalone Battery Backup Unit (BBU) integrated PSU shelf integrated BBU shelf and integrated rack power system (PSU shelf and BBU shelf) per given test plans.
    • Assist with issue debugging and work with PSU/BBU vendors
  • Assist Power Hardware Tooling Integration Testing with data center tools to monitor and alert events related to PSU/BBU health
  • Assist Power lab management
    • Work with equipment vendors for calibration
    • Coordinate equipment repair with equipment vendor
    • Assist with new equipment installation and bring up
    • Initiate and assist with stocking lab supplies to meet testing needs
  • 3 years of experience with switching power supply testing or similar job function (power bricks validation in Server / Storage / Network switches).
  • Familiar with operation of power lab equipment such as oscilloscope AC source DC load Power analyzer etc.
  • Good work attitude.
  • BSEE
  • Power supply design experience is a plus but not mandatory
