Tasks
Responsibilities:
- Architecture Designing Implementation and administration of the Data Protection and recovery
- Conducting the Restore Drill for Application / Database / OS.
- SLA and AvailabilityManagement
- Complete management of Backup and Recovery implementation (IBM Spectrum Protect) incl. management of backup/restore policies coordination of maintenance windows etc.
Requirements
Skills And Qualifications:
- Relevant Experience: 7 years in IBM Storage Protect Data Protection and Business Continuity Plan (preferably as administrator)
- Qualification: Bachelors / Masters / Equivalent
- In depth knowledge and experience in Infrastructure Forecasting and Capacity Planning to streamline the data protection needs of the enterprise business.
- Expert in backup planning and restoration for databases Oracle (RMAN) SAP and variations DB2.
- Expert in Library Management. Configuration and administration of any robotic device like IBM TS Libraries.
- Must have intermediate level understanding and experience with SAN SWITCHES and Storage Administration. Hands on experience on SAN Switches (Zoning configuration etc)
- Must have some knowledge and experience in SAN environment such as IBM Huawei or NetApp
- Must have excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skill.
