Title:Production Support Engineer

Overview: Looking for a technical Production Support Engineer to assist with support of business critical customerfacing flagship locations.
- Will be primarily receiving tickets through ServiceNow working with customer support to understand customer issues perform root cause analysis bug fixing or escalation to appropriate groups (Dev Teams Product Owners QA etc.)
- Resolve production issues maintain the application execute the changes coordinate the release.
- Need to have Java skills minimum being able to read Java code and understand what theyre looking at and where to trace issues if they are able to get into the code base and perform big fixes and optimizations that would be ideal.
- Endtoend full stack applications support particular frontend not as important as core troubleshooting. Should be able to read and troubleshoot Javascript code/Uis
- Need to understand REST APIs from the applications functionality and performance perspective will not necessarily be involved in new development. Could potentially down the road partake in enhancements of the application with the Dev team but not in scope immediately.
- Application is hosted on PCF will be migrating to Azure. Particular cloud experience not a hard requirement.
- Need applications monitoring skills theyre using Dynatrace but any are ok should be able to pull and query logs
- Need strong communication customerservice first mindset to understand the implication of production issues on customers and sense of urgency.
- He wants to see production first experience on resumes client or customer centric products focus (vs general operations). NOT DevOps
- Some exposure to relational databases (Oracle preferred) ability to troubleshoot SQL nice to have.
Must Haves:
- Software Applications Production Support (or Development w/ Support) background
- Java (reading and understanding code for troubleshooting writing/refactoring code nice to have)
- JavaScript knowledge (same as above)
- REST API understanding
- Application monitoring tools (Dynatrace or similar)
- Experience in incident management/ticketing systems (ServiceNow)
- Strong Communication
- Production Experience
