Ninja is seeking a dedicated and experienced Chief Accountant to lead our financial department and ensure the accuracy of all financial statements and reports. This role is crucial in managing the accounting team, overseeing financial operations, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong accounting background, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Chief Accountant, you will manage and oversee all daily accounting operations, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies. Conducting regular audits of financial data and reports will be essential to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and training to foster their professional development. This involves developing and implementing financial policies and procedures that streamline operations and ensure adherence to regulations. You will also coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits, providing all necessary documentation.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Monitoring cash flow, revenue, and expenses will be critical as you provide insights to develop effective budget strategies. Staying informed about industry trends and developments will ensure that the company remains compliant with evolving financial regulations.

Desired candidate profile

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA qualification preferred. A minimum of 12 years of accounting experience is required, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar tools is essential, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities are crucial for effective decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
