Ninja is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented TAX Supervisor to lead our tax department. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing tax compliance, planning, and reporting, ensuring our adherence to both local and international tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
As the TAX Supervisor, you will manage all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for our organization. This includes handling income tax, sales tax, and VAT. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring that they are filed accurately and on time in accordance with regulatory deadlines. Your analytical skills will be vital as you conduct detailed tax analyses and research, aiming to optimize our tax strategies while minimizing our tax liabilities.
Collaboration will be key in this role. You will work closely with various departments, providing guidance on the tax implications of business decisions and transactions. Additionally, you will assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements related to tax provisions, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Managing relationships with external tax advisors and auditors will also fall under your purview, ensuring that we maintain compliance and are audit-ready at all times. Staying current with changes in tax laws and regulations is essential; you will need to assess how these changes impact our company and implement necessary adjustments.
An important part of your role will be to train and mentor junior tax staff, fostering their professional development and enhancing the overall competence of the tax team. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing internal controls related to tax processes, with the goal of improving efficiency and accuracy in our operations.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is preferred. We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 9 years of experience in tax compliance and planning. A strong understanding of local tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements is essential.
Proficiency in tax software and accounting systems is required, alongside excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A keen attention to detail is crucial, as accuracy in reporting is a top priority. The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across departments is important, as is the capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
