Job Summary:
We are looking for someone that can contribute to the planning procuring and management of the Capital Delivery Programme and support the Capital Delivery Team.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
Support and guide the Capital Delivery team ensuring best practice approach to delivery of capital schemes
Contribute to the planning procuring and management of the capital works programme
Ensure appropriate allocation of work utilising internal and external resources to ensure effective delivery of the programme.
Ensure effective monitoring of all schemes within the programme (progress on site quality spend resident satisfaction risks) and provide update report as required
Ensure effective performance monitoring/ management of contractors and technical consultants
Contribute to finance reports (cash flow forecasting and budget returns)
Provide technical support for the delivery of services in the context of construction and in accordance with the current legal framework (Building Safety Act Fire safety and leaseholder legislation)
Contribute to the procurement projects currently underway to secure new contracts and frameworks (setting KPIs developing specification evaluation criteria etc)
Contribute to the updating of business processes to support new contracts being let.
Essential Experience Required:
Proven knowledge/ experience of capital project and programme delivery within public sector housing management is essential.
Experience of design development and construction process from RIBA 0 to stage 7 is essential.
Experience of fire and building safety and implications of recent legislative changes is essential.
Essential Qualification Required:
Educated to degree level and /or significant relevant professional experience is essential.
Additional information to note:
Working hours: 35 hours per week.
This is a flexible hybrid role.
