Job Description
- Running tests and assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities
- Developing plans and procedures to safeguard and recover data
- Enhancing existing security with password protection firewalls and other tools
- Installing and maintaining security software to protect data systems
- Monitoring systems servers and networks for any signs of incursions
- Responding to data breaches and malicious malware attacks
- Simulating data loss scenarios to evaluate the effectiveness of existing recovery plans
- Training other employees on data safety
Requirements
- ACTIVE or EXPIRED IRS MBI Clearance is Required.
- Proficiency in network security (TCP/IP DNS HTTPS)
- Risk assessment and vulnerability management skills
- Incident response and forensic analysis
- Understanding of security frameworks (NIST ISO 27001)
- Experience with security tools (SIEM DLP AV software)
- Strong knowledge of identity and access management (IAM)
- Familiarity with compliance regulations (GDPR HIPAA SOX)
- Penetration testing and ethical hacking skills
Basic Qualifications: Summary of Essential Skills: Proficiency in network security (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS) Risk assessment and vulnerability management skills Incident response and forensic analysis Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) Experience with security tools (SIEM, DLP, AV software) Strong knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) Familiarity with compliance regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) Penetration testing and ethical hacking skills Salary: $ 85000- $150000 with Benefits Benefits: 1.
