Job Description
For an international consulting company were looking for an Azure Data Engineer. The company primarily operates in Scandinavian countries such as Sweden Norway Denmark Finland and Poland. It connects highly skilled professionals with organizations in need of specialized project support. With a broad network of contractors and innovative solutions the company helps its clients execute projects across various industries from IT to the technology sector.
This position involves working in the Financial department for an automotive company primarily remote (75%) from Wroc aw (1 day at the office preferred) and is exclusively B2B.
Responsibilities:
- Our client build common data platform. One of the main goals is to migrate and redisgn solutions from Onpremises platform to the cloud in Azure.
- They provide interactive reports for customers to help them achive their goals.
- They focus a lot on data ingestion & replication to their common and shared platform in cloud.
- They aim to standardise our tools and reporting layer so that they rebuild current BI solutions from i.e. SAP platform to Azure.
- They develop data pipelines between vary applications i.e. Azure SAP Salesforce Oracle MS Dynamics 365

- Azure Databricks (Unity Catalog workflows Python Spark/PySpark)
- Azure Data Factory
- MSSQL
- ADLS blob storage: delta tables parquets
- DevOps pipelines CI/CD
- SQL advanced
- Ready to analyse tasks

- Open minded
- Engaged
- Driver of topics ready to find his/her way to develop or proceed with topics
- Good at collaboration with stakeholders from IT and business side
Requirements
- Having higher education level within IT or similar fields are preferred
- At least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Cloud service platform expertise; preferably Azure and Databricks
- Databases (like MSSQL Server or Netezza) don t have any secret for you
- Knowledge of at least three of these services: Azure Data Factory Azure Synapse Databricks Azure SQL Database Power BI Spark Python Mongo DB Azure Functions
- You are comfortable working in a diverse complex and fastchanging landscape of data sources
- You care about agile software processes datadriven development reliability and responsible experimentation.
- Very good English skills both written and spoken are essential
