Primarily responsible for:
- Identification of user needs and goals task and workflow modeling ethnography and persona development as well as rapid iterative usability testing and more formal indepth testing
- Conducting usability research both online and in the field and provide recommendations for improvement
- Serving as a member of a team that acts as a repository of researchbased usability knowledge
- Working with project business representatives and team members to test business requirements using heuristic/qualitative methods
- Determining user needs by conducting taskfocused analyses
- Working with graphic designers to test proposed look & feel initiatives
- Conducting thorough problem analysis in regards to technical systems and application programs; documents findings and proposes problem resolution alternatives
- Capable of designing application solutions to user needs without supervision
- Staying abreast of new technology trends in order to incorporate relevant applications
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- ACTIVE or EXPIRED IRS MBI Clearance is Required.
- Minimum Five (5) years of experience in and knowledgeable of multiple information technology systems and activities to improve or enhance internal processes.
- Strong analytical skills to examine systems and processes and extrapolate solutions after reviewing data that provide ways to improve or enhance internal processes.
- Technical proficiency in relevant languages and development tools. Through understanding of structured programming principals system analysis techniques system design industry standard testing principles system implementation. It is highly collaborative multidisciplinary team focused on improving usability user experience and driving user adoption and engagement.
- They are responsible for conducting user research as well as potential system enhancements analysis & synthesis persona development of usercentered design research and usability testing.
