Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead the development of structural design concepts and solutions for various projects. You will be responsible for interpreting and applying Eurocodes to ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and regulations. Your expertise will be vital in preparing comprehensive drawing packages and technical specifications necessary for construction.

In this role, you will manage the design process effectively, coordinating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery. You will also lead and contribute to the preparation of reports, calculations, and presentations, showcasing your findings and designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

An important aspect of your position will be mentoring and supporting junior engineers. You will offer guidance and technical expertise, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development within the team.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a degree in structural engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. We prefer candidates with 7 years or more of experience, demonstrating a strong background in leading and delivering structural designs throughout RIBA stages of work.

Proficiency in Eurocodes and other relevant design codes and standards is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering innovative structural solutions that meet client expectations.

Additionally, excellent communication skills are crucial for this role. The ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders will enhance your effectiveness in this position, allowing you to convey complex information clearly and build strong working relationships.
