Job Title: Business Development Representative
Location: Dallas TX (Hybrid)
Duration: Full Time: Permanent
Shift: 8 Hours a day 40 hours a week
Citizenship: USC or Green card Holder


JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a fulltime hybrid role that will be responsible for prospecting closing & generating new business to achieve growth. The Business Development Representative will be expected to meet and exceed sales targets maintain a strong understanding of the transportation industry and cultivate relationships with prospects.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

3 years of experience in freight brokerage in a sales position.
Proven track record of success in FTL freight brokerage sales
Book of business in hand is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office CRMs & TMS Softwares.
The ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and prioritize multiple projects
Experience working with carriers freight forwarders and shippers.
Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Hunting and winning new business.
Identifying and assessing a clients critical needs.
Promote the companys products or services to prospective clients.
Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines.
Create business proposals/quotations for new and existing customers.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Set and exceed sales quotas.
Being a point of contact to priority customers and resolving any issues that they have.
Collecting and communicating customer requirements to all necessary departments.
Keep all comercial information up to date on the companys sales pipeline in CRM.
Responding to client communications or queries.
Networking with business partners and customers.
Coordination of Presentation/Marketing support to customers and prospects
