Job Description
Job Title: Application Developer
Location: Washington DC (Hybrid)
Contract: Long Term
- This position will help support the development of an application utilizing AWS Serverless and cloud services.
Qualifications:
- Working experience with Agile development methodology and roles along with experience utilizing CI/CD for building and deploying cloud applications with the Python language for backend services and Angular frontend development is important for this role
- Candidate must have expert knowledge (i.e. demonstrates comprehensive understanding and is viewed as a subject matter expert in the following areas: cloud technology platforms (specially AWS) programming cloud security/recovery cloud tools/services DevOps and database management.
- Experience working as a developer writing Python code along with the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) required to deploy with AWS CDK.
- Experience modelling business process in AWS StepFunctions.
- Experience developing containerbased applications utilizing REST APIs for webbased application written with either Angular or React in Typescript.
- Experience utilizing AWS CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail for logging events and audit messages for operating in a highly regulated environment.
