Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our selfservice platform built on Backstage. The project is currently 40% complete and we require an experienced developer to help maintain the existing codebase while extending the platform into different phases.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the selfservice platform using Backstage.
Expand the platform to new phases as required.
Collaborate with the development team to deliver highquality solutions.
Participate in code reviews ensure best practices and maintain clean code.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration with other services.
Required Skills:
TypeScript: Strong experience with TypeScript for developing scalable and maintainable applications.
Node.js: Handson experience with Node.js for building serverside applications and APIs.
React or Angular: Proficiency in either React or Angular for frontend development.
Yarn: Familiarity with Yarn for package management.
Nice to Have:
Backstage: Experience with Backstage or similar platforms for building selfservice portals.
Selfservice Portal Development: Prior experience in building and maintaining selfservice platforms.
API Integration: Experience with integrating APIs into frontend applications.
Preferred:
Agile Methodology: Understanding and experience working in an Agile development environment.
Collaboration: Strong team player with good communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges efficiently.
