Training/Profile: Python/Machine learning/Data analysis
Basic knowledge of Python is required as well as knowledge (through courses or experience) of basic machine learning techniques. It will also be appreciated if the candidate has followed courses in advanced linear algebra.
Chipiron is building a prototype for a portable MRI machine in unshielded environments. Our machine uses an ultralow magnetic field which decreases the signal strength that is used to reconstruct the image. While current clinical highfield MRI machines operate in a fully shielding room our machine will work in open environments in order to be used in ambulances or emergency rooms. To do so one has to partially shield the system but also cancel background noise using several antennas combined with software techniques. These techniques either rely on purely algebraic methods (such as EDITER) or machine learning algorithms (for example using CNNs).
The intern will work with the software team on implementing Chipirons own datadriven method for active noise cancellation. This can include significant changes and improvements to state of the art techniques or devising original solutions based on machine learning and data processing.
Tasks:
Become familiar with the current methods used at Chipiron and help members of the team with the task of the analysis of experimental data
Help the team in improving the current methods and comparing different solutions.
Chipiron is revolutionizing the medical imaging industry by developing light and easily deployable MRI machines powered by an ultrasensitive quantum detection system. Our mission is to make MRI accessible to everyone everywhere. Were a team of engineers based in the heart of Paris and we have only one obsession: building things people want.
