Responsibilities of a Year 6 teacher:
As a Year 6 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2 promoting teamwork and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual childs learning targets encouraging their strengths and improving their weaknesses
Keeping track of childrens progress and occasionally reporting back to parents
Year 6 Teacher requirements:
QTS PGCE and strong academic record
Creative imaginative determined resourceful and adaptable practitioner
Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 6 environment
Able to communicate your passion to children and parents
